In SAS Life Science Analytics Framework 5.1.x, opening a SAS data set from the repository can take significantly longer compared to opening the same data set from the user workspace. 

Note: The larger the data set, the more significant the difference is between opening from the repository and opening from the user workspace. 

An initial fix to improve performance of the SAS data set opening for large data sets within the repository is available in SAS^® Life Science Analytics Framework 5.2.1. 

Note: Additional performance improvements are implemented in SAS^® Life Science Analytics Framework 5.2.2.
